Sonic Style originally started as a simple free BraveNet website that hosted hilarious comics. After two months of being restricted to what content was able to be uploaded, it moved on to a semi greener pasture, GeoCities. After joining a few web-rings and top sites Sonic Style began to grow within the Sonic Community and established itself as a successful sprite comic website. It grew so fast within the first three months the website kept temporarily shutting down for maxing out the given bandwidth.

Near the end of November it came time to move once again, but this time to a permanent address with more space and bandwidth. On November 26th, 2004, SonicStyle.org was officially born. By gaining more room the site expanded into different areas of the media side of the community and gained an even larger audience.
