All the Chaos Emeralds
First have the level select mode activated. Next play the following tracks in order: 02, 04, 05, and 06. Once completed you should hear a chime if successful, now you can start the game with all seven of the Chaos Emeralds.

Debug Mode
Once the Level Select mode is activated, enter the Sound Test area and then press both the A and start button at the same time on any level you want. The A button is used to change to a different sprite on that level, the B button is to become the current sprite, and the C button is to place the current sprite in field. Night Mode

Tips

Sonic and Knuckles Mini-Boss Music
Near the end of Hydrocity Zone 2 Act 1, when facing the mini-boss, stay under water until you hear the drowning music playing, and then jump out of the water.

Ghost Wall
When playing in Icecap Zone Act 1 as Sonic or Tails you will come to a wall that only Knuckles can break through. Once you're here, hold down until Sonic or Tails looks all the way down. Now press Up and jump at the same time, the camera will now rotate and you can wall right through the wall. This however will only work with Act 1 in Ice Cap Zone.

Two players in one player mode
When you start a new game as both Sonic and Tails, plug in the second controller to control Tails.

100000 Points
Timing is everything for this one. You have to manage to beat a stage with the time exactly in 9 minutes and 59 seconds.
