Story: Over 4000 years ago, a sentient weapon was created by an ancient civilization. But who cares about that. After a millennia has past, the weapon called a Gizoid, was unearthed and researched by Professor Gerald Robotnik. It remained dormant for another half century before it was found once again by Dr. Robotnik. Unable to make Gizoid obey his commands, Robotnik dumps the robot on Emerald Beach, where it was discovered by Sonic the Hedgehog.
Sonic befriends Gizoid and renames him as Emerl, and becomes entangled with the affairs of Sonic and Co. Emerl begins to learn and interact with the others, and becomes starts to become more human. However, lurking in the shadows is Dr. Robotnik, who recognizes Emerl’s true power, as a machine capable of mass destruction, and is waiting for the right opportunity to strike!
