Level Select
To quickly jump to any point of the game enter Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, and then press B. Here you can choose any level. However, after the level is completed you will be taking back to the title menu.

Sonic Team's Best Times
Think you can beat the game designers' score? Find out by entering Right, Right, Up, Up, Down, and then press C at the title screen to view the high scores.

Sound Test
To get to the sound test area, at the title screen enter Down, Down, Down, Left, Right, and then press A.

Debug Mode
To enter debug mode you first must enter the Sound Test cheat. After that enter FM 40 PCM 12 DA 11, press start and a picture of Tails will appear next to a jeep and the words “See You Next Game" will appear. When you press start again you will be taken to the main menu screen. Once you're actually in the game press the B button to place any character in the sprite sheet for that level in the game. By pressing the C button you can change to a different sprite character.

DA Garden/Music Demo
If you feel the need to listen to Sonic CD and rotate, move, or zoom effect a planet, while Tails flies by in a biplane to a setting and rising sun, then you will enjoy this. To get this classy feature just beat the total time 37'27"57 in Time Attack mode.

Special Stage Time Attack
If you wish to destroy some more UFOs in your spare time, just beat the total time 30'21"05 in Time Attack mode.

Visual Mode
To see some hidden artwork on the CD just beat the total time 25'46"12 in Time Attack, and Visual Mode will be available from the title screen.

True Ending
To get the true ending of the game, just collect all seven time stones, and create a good future for each level. Hint: Once you collected all the time stones you will automatically start with a good ending for the remaining levels.

"I'm Outta Here!"
Boredom comes quick for our blue ADD hedgehog. If you level the game running during a level without pausing it or touching it for three minutes, Sonic will say "I'm Outta Here!," and then commit suicide by leaping off the ledge taking all of his lives with him.
