Story: "The twisted Dr. Robotnik is back! And this time he’s hatched an evil plan to transform all the creatures of Mobius into robots. To do this, Robotnik’s designed the Volcano Veg-O Fortress, a super efficient robot factory hidden inside an island volcano.

Sonic-Zilla
First go into Options, and then highlight over SFX. Now play the following sound bites in order 00, 02, 01, 01, 06, and 06. If you did it correctly you will see the screen shake.

Zero Gravity Sonic
In the SFX option in the Option menu enter the following sound effects: 00, 09, 00, 01, 06, and 08. The screen will shake show you that the code has been enabled. To activate zero gravity during game play just pause the game and hold button 1 and button 2.

Skip to the Boss
To skip right to the end of the level to where the boss is enter the following sound effects under the Option menu in the SFX area: 00, 02, 01, 05, 06, and 06. The screen will shake to confirm that you entered the code in correctly. To activate the code just pause the game and hold button 1 and button 2 to go right to the boss at the end of the level.

Fast Music
Is the music to slow for you taste? Enter this code to speed up the tempo. In the SFX area under Option, enter the following sound effects: 00, 04, 02, 05, 05, and 07 the screen will shake confirming the code, and to activate it just pause the game and hold button 1 and button 2.

Debug Mode
This is always a fun choice when it comes to Sonic games. Just like all the other codes this is done in the SFX area. Enter the following sound effects in order: 00, 09, 00, 01, 06, and 08 and then the screen will shake. When you start the game, pause it and then hold button 1 and button 2 during game play. You now will be able to move Sonic anywhere you wish.

High Gravity
Want a new challenge? Change the gravity around with this code. Enter the following sound effects in order: 00, 03, 01, 09, 06, and 08 the screen will shake as a confirmation.

Level Skip
Enter the following code in the SFX are to skip levels: 00, 02, 01, 05, 06, and 06. Now you can skip a level by pausing the game and pressing down.

Low Gravity
Enter the following in the SFX area: 00, 04, 01, 09, 06, and 04 for low gravity during game play. The screen will shake if the code was entered correctly.

Medium Gravity
Enter the following in the SFX area: 01, 00, 01, 03, 06, and 07 for medium gravity during game play. The screen will shake if the code was entered correctly.

Negative Colors
A new twist on something old, you can make the game play in negative colors by entering the following in the SFX area: 00, 02, 02, 07, 06, and 09. The screen will shake if the code was done correctly. An even more obvious way of telling is that the title screen will be in negative colors.

Negative Colors and Faster Music
You know this code kind’a reminds me of something we’ve entered before but what, but what... To get this effect just enter 00, 09, 01, 02, 05, and 04 in the SFX area. You will know you’ve done it correctly because the screen will shake, and everything will look trippy.

Slow Motion
Game too hard for you? Slow it down by entering the following in the SFX area: 00, 04, 02, 09, 06, and 04. The screen will shake for confirmation.

Start with 9 Lives
Nine balls should be more then enough to get you through the game. To have them at the start enter the following in the SFX area: 00, 03, 01, 01, 05, and 05. The screen will shake for confirmation.

Super Low Gravity
Is the game still too hard in slow motion? Well then enter the follow in the SFX area to have the ball fly ever so high: 00, 08, 02, 07, 06, and 06. The screen will shake for confirmation.

Super Slow Motion
Okay if you still can’t beat the game then this is your last chance to do so. Enter the following in SFX to make game even slower: 00, 05, 01, 03, 07, and 00. The screen will shake for confirmation.
