Let's face it all sites evolve, but wouldn't it be nice to look back at how much they have evolved? This section is dedicated to the previous layouts that Sonic Style has gone through the years.

August 25th to October of 2004
Here's a look at our very first layout. At the time I didn't know much about HTML so I tried to use as little as possible. Even from the beginning the GBA layout was incorporated with the comics. Sadly, Bravenet proved to have too many ads and was very limiting for its free hosting plan, so Sonic Style moved to Geocities. The only line of advertising about Sonic Style was through the use of web-rings. |

October 2004 to February 16, 2005
This layout was put together after the transition to Geocites. The layout here was a free pre-made anime layout that was quickly changed to Sonic characters. Wanting to grow within the Sonic Community, Sonic Style joined a handful of top sites and began to network itself by affiliating with similar websites. This layout also saw the introduction of the shout-out box that users could use for communication. By the end of November, Geocities' free web hosting could no longer support the bandwidth needed for Sonic Style. So on November 26th, 2004, Sonic Style purchased its own domain, www.sonicstyle.org. |

February 17, 2005 to June of 2005
A new year started a new trend of changing its layout. On February 17th, 2005, Sonic Style took on a more professional look to it. By the time this layout came to be, there were now two places to chat: the shout-out box and the forums. As you can probably guess, one of them had to be removed. So we lost the use of the shout-out box. This layout also included the "Random Game of the Moment" and hidden animated icons to entertain the users. |

June of 2005 to January 8th, 2006
The layout was once again changed in June to get in touch with our roots. This allowed both comics and layout to blend together as a whole. During this layout the site introduced the remix section and hosted its first contest for SEGA. |

January 8th, 2006 to June 22nd, 2008
This is probably the most recognized layout because of the length of time it was used. The layout saw the introduction the “Previous Layout” and Sonic Billboard sections, as well as being honored with the Sonic Site Award for 2007. It was finally retired to remove the restrictions that were presented with a table layout. |

June 22nd, 2008 to July 09th, 2009
During this moment in time, Sonic Unleash was underway and Sonic Style wanted to join the transformation. How you may ask? Well, this layout was actually two different skins in one. During the day, the site looks like any normal Sonic the Hedgehog website. At night however, it transformed into its were-hog alter ego. |
