The Japanese version of Sonic and the Black Knight website released a new video today. However, they posted a very low quality version of it. The video features Sonic pulling out Caliburn, the Knights of the Round, and a few new cut scenes from the game. On the upside SoJ has improved the quality of some of the images on the site and added a character section recently.

Comics Restored
Site Update: 02/21/09

Remember a while back, when I announced that I lost most of the new comics because of the transfer to the new server? Well, I was able to piece them all together. The last one took longer than the rest, because most of the screens were still in their raw state. So that's why it has a 2009 date instead of when it was actually submitted. I also took the liberty of changing the majority of the comics to high and low quality. That way those with a slower connection will be able to view the comics faster. I'm in the midst of creating a new comic strip, but this won't continue the story from where it was left off. It will be a random comic strip to get my skills back on track. As for a projected deadline, I've got none, since finals are right around the corner. It will be up when it is ready.

Released today is a new Sonic and the Black Knight trailer featuring Blaze the Cat as Percival; just like the one with Shadow, Blaze is featured at the end of the trailer.

Today Sonic Channel updated their website with next month's wallpaper and desktop calendar. In anticipation for the March release of Sonic and the Black Knight, Sonic Channel gives you Sonic holding a sword. "Oooo, Aaaah," like you've never seen that one before. In addition to the wallpaper and desktop update, I've added new screenshots and character artwork.

SATBK Websites Ripped, Found Chaos
Site Update: 02/14/09

Happy Valentines Day!
Yesterday both the English and the Japanese Sonic and the Black Knight websites were updated, and most of the day was spent updating the website. So if you're looking for any ripped images, sound effects, videos, paper crafts, or wallpaper from the two websites, they are here.
While in the mist of ripping images from the English Sonic and the Black Knight website, I stumbled upon an interesting set of images. These two chao images were buried in the SWF file. This could possibly mean that chaos will be part of the game, or perhaps those working on the site got bored one day. Who knows, these are the same folks that wrote "yo mama" in the XML file for the paper craft section.
EDIT: Remind me never to make a post so late at night. Those chaos are the cluster of fairies that are flying around.

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games
Site Update: 02/12/09

Mario and Sonic face off in Vancouver, Canada for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Just like the summer games, the winter games will be available for both the Nintendo DS and the Nintendo Wii. Gamers that own a Nintendo Wii will be able to take advantage of the Wii Balance Board for some of the events for a more interactive gaming experience. So far the only officially announced games are Alpine Skiing and Speed Skating. Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games will feature both old and new characters, and will be available this winter.

Music Section Renovation Complete
Site Update: 02/12/09

The renovation for the music section is now complete, so send an e-mail for any broken links or if you have a better way of organizing the music section within the layout. Otherwise go nuts listening to the new music that has been added, while I go into a comatose state for a moment. For those that like the coloring pages, the Chip coloring page is now available.

Music Section Construction
Site Update: 02/01/09

The music section of the site is in the midst of a renovation. Instead of just seeing the list of games for each section, there is now an "Album" and a "BGM" section. Tracks that were previously taken from a specific album will be moved to their own sections, so keep an eye out. So far we've only been adding new tracks to the site, but the BGMs will be under inspection very soon. This renovation not only provides easy access to specific song titles, but will also allow us to add tracks to the site that are not found in the games.

| Which do you prefer? | |
| Dr. Eggman | 63.17% (705) |
| Dr. Robotnik | 31.72% (354) |
| Doctor | 5.11% (57) |
The people have spoken and have chosen Dr. Eggman as the name of that dastardly romantic villain. Dr. Eggman's name not only won but pretty much shattered any close race with 351 vote lead. The classy Dr. Robotnik came in a cool second; followed by the Doctor to clean up any lingering votes. Can you tell what name I voted for?
